i never tire of ASOS

seriously I can go on asos.com any day and find something i want to buy. this was one of my purchases last year from asos and its still a favorite. cant wait to wear it differently with this blazer to put a spin on patterns.

I love the look of this skirt and the trumpet hem. this is one of my favorite festive skirts along with this feather skirt also from ASOS and this sequin skirt that I have yet to wear. I'm trying desperately not to shop in order to save for Paris but every now an then I do some fake shopping by going online and filling shopping carts with items I hope to one day buy. I'm currently en route to North Carolina! Home sweet home. Here's a what I packed. I tried to bring a minimum of pieces that I can mix and match. I'm only going to be home for a few days but I look forward to the hot (yes HOT) weather, sweet tea, family visits and all the southern food my aunt can cook. YAY Me! Loving these gold lame shorts I scored at Loehmann's for less than $20.

This skirt was a score at Loehmanns that I have been loving! I recently wore it to see The Great Gatsby since it has that kinda feel to me. A great sweater is great for those cool nights when you don't want to wear a jacket or to throw over a dress (like the one below).

This is one of my favorites dresses because its so easy. It doesn't wrinkle and its super comfortable. A great statement necklace can spice up any of the looks too.

Brooklyn Bridge Birthday

29 years ago today I was born. I'm so glad I was...these last 29 years have been pretty fun. I like life a lot. I mean yeah...i've been laid off a job, had my heart broken more than once, and my computer has crashed 4 times but life it still pretty damn good. I feel like I've accomplished a lot so far and can't wait to rock the hell out of this last year of my 20's. It seems the older I get the younger people assume I am. I can't tell you how many young...and I mean young guys hit on me everyday thinking im in my early 20's. I hope these Benjamin Button genes last forever. lol.

I had to do something great for my birthday so i finally did the Brooklyn Bridge + Balloons shoot I've always wanted to do. It was so fun and really breathtaking to watch the sun rise over New York City. It was the most magical morning and I was pretty amusing to the early bikers. I have a deep fear of bridges and this was a little terrifying for me but I wanted to do it and so glad I did!

I got this great waffle knit dress from ASOS a few months ago with the sole intention of wearing it for my birthday. I paired it with the early birthday present to myself, these Alexander Wang Aminata sandals. I am going to treat myself to some of my favorite things today which include Tonnie's Minis Carrot Cake Cupcakes and a mani-pedi and some champagne!
